Infants
The infant room is a comfortable space for children to feel at home in a natural and secure setting. The serene environment will aid in the young child’s development and independence while providing nurture and contentment each day. Our infants will be provided peaceful rest opportunities, furniture, and materials to encourage developmental milestones, and loving care and supervision to ensure healthy growth in these precious early days.
Activities in the infant room include free floor time, exploration of manipulatives, discovery of the senses, motor development, music and movement, outdoor fun, healthy meal and snack times, and relaxation and slumber.
Toddlers
The first few years of a child’s life are the most formative years. It is a time when children effortlessly absorb concepts and habits. It is also the period when roots for a love of learning are established. Toddlers will be exposed to age-appropriate materials that stimulate the absorbent mind and encourage natural curiosity.
Here, we foster self-help skills, initiative, exploration, confidence, and mastery of routine.
Our experienced toddler teachers understand the unique responsibility of ensuring that each child is nurtured and respected in a way that encourages growth in a safe place. The older toddlers will be exposed to age-appropriate materials that are fully engaging, and scaffold learning in preparation for the preschool classroom.
